तो पायाने स्टूल ढकलणार तोच हिने पटकन त्याला सावरलं,

त्याला मोकळं केलं,

तो म्हणत होता,

सोड मला, सोड..

तिने त्याला पटकन खाली घेतलं आणि बसवलं,

तिने आधी कपाळावरचा घाम पुसला,

घशाला कोरड पडलेली,

तसंच ती जीवाच्या आकांताने ओरडली,

“काय आहे हे? हा??? काय झालं असं की तू गळफास लावून घेतोय?”

तो लहान मुलासारखा रडू लागला,

तिला कळेना काय झालं ते,

दोघांत ना कसलं भांडण सुरू होतं, ना कसला वाद, ना अर्थिक विवंचना, ना ऑफिसमध्ये कसला त्रास, ना शारीरिक कुठला आजार..

ही कारणं सोडली तर जीव द्यायला दुसरं कुठलंच कारण शिल्लक नव्हतं..

तिने त्याला हलवून हलवून विचारलं तसं तो म्हणाला,

“मी खूप वाईट माणूस आहे, खुप नालायक माणूस आहे , लोकं माझ्याकडे वाईट नजरेने बघतील, मी कुठे तोंड दाखवायच्या लायकीचा राहणार नाही..”

तो काय बोलत होता ते तिला काहीच कळत नव्हतं,

असं काही घडलंही नव्हतं,

तिने त्याला शांत केलं आणि विचारलं,

“हे बघ, जे काही असेल ते मला शांततेत, नीट सविस्तर सांग..”

सांगतो,

गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून मला फेसबुकवर एका मुलीचा मेसेज येत होता, की मी तुझी शाळेतली मैत्रीण आहे म्हणून,

मग?

मी तिची प्रोफाइल पाहिली, एकही फोटो दिसला नाही मला, आणि नावही आठवत नव्हतं, तिला विचारलं तर म्हणायची की सेफ्टी साठी नाही टाकले,

ती सतत म्हणत होती,

मला हळूहळू विश्वास बसू लागला, कारण mutual फ्रेंड्स मध्ये वर्गातली काही मित्र दिसत होती,

तिचा परत मेसेज आला,

“सगळे तुझी आठवण काढताय, आमच्याशी व्हिडीओ कॉल ने बोल”

असा मेसेज करून तिने व्हिडीओ कॉल केला,

मी क्षणभर विचार केला आणि कॉल घेतला,

पण प्रत्यक्षात काहीतरी वेगळंच दिसत होतं,

समजेपर्यंत अर्धा एक मिनिट गेला माझा..

त्या…त्या मुलीने…क..क सगळे कपडे…ती नग्नावस्थेत समोर आली,
