वृषाली जेव्हा बाळंतपणानंतर घरी आलेली तेव्हा तिच्या हातातलं बाळ पाहून मनालीला अपार माया दाटून आलेली, छोटू ला तिने लळा लावायचा प्रयत्न केला पण…वृषाली च्या मनात कुणीतरी भरवलं की वांझ स्त्री ची नजर बळावर नको..आईचं हृदय, तिने मनाली ला दूर ठेवायचा प्रयत्न केला…मनाली पार कोसळली होती…घरात तिला काही अंशी का होईना, आईपण मिळालं होतं पण तेही हिरावलं गेलं….चूक दोघींचीही नव्हती..पण यामुळे दोघींच्या मनात विष पेरलं गेलं…
मनाली छोटू चं बालपण डोळ्याने बघतच राहिली, वाटायचं छोटू ला कडेवर घ्यावं, त्याचे मुके घ्यावे…पण वृषाली ची नजर तिला दूर करे…
आणि आज इतक्या वर्षांनी छोटू जवळ येणार म्हणून..मनाली सुखावली होती…
“चालेल वहिनी…पण…”
“पण बिन काही नाही..मी वृषाली ला बोलावते..”
दोघांना समोरासमोर घेऊन…
