त्याची बायकोही कायम आनंदात असायची,

पण त्या जोडप्याला लग्न होऊन बरीच वर्षे होऊनही नवलाई अजूनही तशीच होती,
एकदा असंच नेत्रा गॅलरीतून कपडे काढतांना तिचं लक्ष गेटपाशी गेलं,
तो नवरा हातात एक मोठा बुके घेऊन आलेला,
तिचा वाढदिवस असावा बहुतेक,
पण सोसायटीच्या ग्रुपवर कुणाचे मेसेज दिसले नाही,
म्हणजे वाढदिवस नसला तरी असं,
मग वाढदिवस असला तर, बापरे !
एवढयात दारावारची बेल वाजली,
नेत्राचा नवरा नुकताच ऑफिसमधून आलेला,
तो आल्या आल्या तिने छानसं स्मितहास्य केलं,
त्याचं लक्षही नव्हतं,
तो घाम पुसत आत आला,
“मला कडक कॉफी कर”
