दोघांचं नवीनच लग्न झालं होतं,

एका लहानशा देवळात, ओळखीतले चार नातेवाईक आणि तिचे आई वडील..

लग्न कसलं ते, तडजोड होती.

तिला 3 वर्षाचा एक मुलगा, आणि तो अविवाहित.

लग्न करून ती आणि तिचा मुलगा त्याच्या घरी गेले.

त्याने घर दाखवलं…

बेडरूममध्ये तिने आपल्या मुलाला झोपवलं, पण पुढे काय होणार म्हणून तिला धास्ती वाटायला लागली.

जीवनात इतके वाईट दिवस तिने पाहिलेले की आता कसली इच्छाच उरली नव्हती.

एका अपघातात तिचा नवरा गेला. ती एकटी पडली. माहेरी आली.

थोडे दिवस सहानुभूती मिळाली, पण हळूहळू हळू तिला दुसऱ्या लग्नाचं विचारायला लागले.

तिने स्पष्ट सांगितलं,

“आता फक्त अंकुरला मोठं करायचं हेच माझं ध्येय…लग्न वैगरे मी करणार नाही..”

“मग तुझा भार आम्ही आयुष्यभर उचलायचा का? आम्हाला आमचा संसार नाही का? नवऱ्याला खाल्लंस आता आम्हाला खा..”

काळजात चरकन जखम गेली…

परक्याने बोललेलं सुद्धा माणूस किती दिवस लक्षात ठेवतो, आपल्यांनी दुखावलं तर…माणूस कोलमडून जातो.

भावाने मिहीरला शोधून आणलं. गरीब मुलगा, आई वडिलांचा एकुलता एक..कोरोनामध्ये आई वडील गेले..नातेवाईकांनी साथ सोडली…

मिहीरला एक असाध्य आजार होता, जीव कधीही जाऊ शकतो एका साध्याश्या अटॅक ने..डॉ. ने स्पष्ट सांगितलेलं..

लग्न करून मुलीला वैधव्याची क्षणाक्षणाला भीती घालून द्यायला त्याला पटत नव्हतं..

पण भावाने सांगितलं,

“असं एकटं राहण्यापेक्षा मंजुषाला सोबत दे..जितके दिवस देता येईल तितकी साथ दे..”

मंजुषाला सुदधा हे माहीत होतं..
