संध्याकाळी दोघे बाहेर गेले,

आता तासन तास कामं चालतात..

आधी कसं होतं आणि आता कसं आहे यावर दोघीजणी तुलना करू लागत,

त्यांना कळत नव्हतं,

एक माणूस वाढलाय घरात,

गोष्टी बदलणारच..

यात तिची काय चूक?

घरात तिच्या वस्तू दिसू लागल्या,

तिची पर्स, तिचे कपडे, तिचं सामान..

त्यांना वेगळेपण नको वाटू लागायचं..

संध्याकाळी नवरा घरी आला की त्याला चहा पाणी करे,

नवरा तिच्याजवळ बसून तिच्याशी बोले,

गप्पा मारे,

घरच्यांना बघवत नव्हतं,

कालपर्यंत आमच्याशी गप्पा मारायचा,

आता आम्हाला विसरला,

तिच्या लक्षात यायचं,

ती म्हणायची,

आईंनी आज घर बरंच आवरलं,

दमल्या आहेत त्या,

त्यांना एखादं नारळपाणी आणून द्या,

सासूला राग येई,
