“तिला कशाला सांगतो उगाच, जमणार नाही तिला..”

परेश पटकन बोलून गेला,

सहकारी त्याच्याकडे विचित्र नजरेने पाहू लागला,

परेश भानावर आला,

“अरे म्हणजे, ती हुशार आहेच..पण असं चारचौघांत सादर करायला, बोलायला तिला नाही जमत..प्रेझेन्टेशन च्या वेळी गडबडून जाईल ती..”

तो सहकारी बरं म्हणत निघून गेला,

इकडे परेश घरी आला, विचार करू लागला,

त्या इव्हेंटमध्ये मी प्रोजेक्ट सादर केला तर? मी हे सिद्ध करू शकतो की मी अश्विनीपेक्षा चांगलं काम करू शकतो ते..

त्याने अश्विनीला याबाबत काहीही कळवलं नाही,

उलट तिचाच फोन आला,

“अरे परेश, बेंगलोर ला एक इव्हेंट आहे..तिथे प्रोजेक्ट सादर करायचा आहे, चांगली संधी आहे..”

परेशने डोक्यावर हात मारून घेतला, हिला कसं कळलं?

“मला नाही जमणार, म्हणजे माझी ईच्छा नाहीये..”

“नको गं, कशाला इतका लांबचा प्रवास, वरून बक्षीस मिळेलच याची काय शाश्वती?”

त्याने नकार दिला तसा तिनेही नाद सोडला..

थोड्यावेळाने परत तिचा फोन,

“ऐक ना, यावेळी माहेरी थोडं जास्त दिवस राहू म्हणतेय..”

परेशने विचार केला, ही इकडे नसेल तर आपल्याला प्रोजेक्ट वर काम करता येईल आणि नाना प्रश्नांना उत्तरं द्यावी लागणार नाही,

“अगं राहा की, अगदी 10-15 दिवस थांब..आराम कर..”

तिला आनंद झाला,

इकडे तो कामाला लागला,

प्रोजेक्ट पूर्ण करत होता,

तिचा फोन येई,

पण कामात आहे, खूप लोड आहे सांगत तो थोडक्यात आटोपायचा..
