आता मात्र केतन अनुत्तरित झाला…अनिता ने केतन ला हळूच बाजूला ओढलं आणि सांगितलं..
“पाया पडते तुमच्या, हे असले बुरसटलेले विचार आपल्या मुलावर तरी लादू नका…स्त्री च्या माहेराला खालचं लेखायचं…स्त्री ने माहेरची काहीही जबाबदारी उचलू नये…स्त्री ला आई वडीलांबद्दल जास्त ओढ नको हे असलं काही त्याचा मनावर बिंबवू नका…उद्या आपल्या छकुली माहेरी आली तर अनिकेतने तिला हेच सांगून सासरी पिटाळलं तर? तेव्हा आपण नसू, आपल्या मागे अनिकेतच छकुलिचं माहेर असणार आहे…”
छकुलीचं नाव काढताच केतन ला गलबलून आलं…त्याला त्याची चूक समजली…तो पटकन अनिकेत कडे वळला…
