असं म्हणत पसंती झाली,

दोघांचं थाटामाटात लग्न झालं,

सुखाचा संसार सुरू झाला,

एकमेकांमध्ये दोघेही रमले,

वर्ष होत आलेलं लग्नाला,

पण तिच्यातला बदल त्याच्या नजरेतून सुटत नव्हता,

मधेच कुठेतरी हरवून जायची ती,

लक्ष नसायचं बोलण्याकडे,

अचानक मधेच गंभीर होऊन जाई,

सोबत आहे असं दाखवायची पण मनाने कुठेतरी दुसरीकडे असायची,

ती स्वतःचं हे वागणं लपवायचा प्रयत्न करायची,

पण शेवटी नवराच तो, त्याच्या नजरेतून काही सुटत नव्हतं,

एके दिवशी कानाला हेडफोन लावून ती गाणे ऐकत होती,

तेवढ्यात गॅस वर ठेवलेल्या दुधाचा तिला वास आला अन हेडफोन बाजूला ठेऊन ती किचनमध्ये पळाली,

त्याने सहज हेडफोन कानाला लावले,

गाणी सुरू होती,

“मुमकिन नही है, तुझे भूल जाना…”

“कितने हसीं आलम हो जाते, मै और तुम गर हम हो जाते..”

त्याला समजलं,

हिच्या मनात नक्की काय सुरू आहे ते..

जुन्या आठवणींना घेऊन ती वर्तमानात त्रासिक होतेय..

त्याने शांतपणे विचार केला,

त्या मुलाची माहिती काढली, नंबर काढला..आणि भेटायला बोलावलं..

एके दिवशी तो तिला म्हणाला,

“चल माझ्यासोबत”

“कुठे?”

“फक्त चल..”

ती घाबरली, हा असा काय म्हणतोय अचानक?

तिने तयारी केली, त्याच्यामागोमाग निघाली..

एका रेस्टरन्ट मध्ये दोघेही थांबले,

त्याने तिला टेबलापाशी बसायला सांगितले, आणि म्हणाला..

“मी काही वेळाने मी परत येईन..तोवर इथे थांब..”

ती काही म्हणायच्या आत तिचा नवरा तिथून निघून गेला…
