 तिच्याकडे बघून तो मोठमोठ्याने हसत होता,

बहुतेक घरी त्याने सगळं सांगितलं असावं,

तो दिसताच त्याला तिने मारायला सुरुवात केली,

“खडूस,  आगाव कुठचा…अशी मस्करी करतात का?”

त्याची आई आणि बहीणही म्हणू लागले,

“मार त्याला चांगलं..मार, कशी मस्करी करतो पाहिलं ना?”

“नाहीतर काय काकू, आता रस्त्यावर मी एक होर्डिंग्ज पाहिलं..त्यावर एक मॉडेल दिसली, कुठेतरी पाहिल्या सारखं वाटलं म्हणून डोक्याला खुप ताण दिला, अन समजलं की ही तीच मॉडेल जिचा फोटो या आशुड्या ने माझी गर्लफ्रेंड म्हणून मला पाठवला… किती नालायक म्हणावा ना..”

त्याची हसून हसून पुरेवाट झाली, भांडून झालं..मारुन झालं..ती शांत झाली…त्याच्या डोळ्यात तिने पाहिलं.. डोळ्यात अश्रू आले..

आई आणि बहिणीने एकमेकांना इशारा करत त्या आत गेल्या, दोघांना एकांत दिला..

“काय झालं ?”

“अशी मस्करी कधीच करत जाऊ नकोस..”

“नाही करणार..अश्या मॉडेलचे फोटो नाही पाठवणार…”

“हम्म..”

“जी खरीखुरी गर्लफ्रेंड आहे तिचाच पाठवणार..”

ती परत गंभीर झाली,

“ख…खर..खरीखुरी म्हणजे?”

“म्हणजे माझी गर्लफ्रेंड दुसरी आहे..तिचा फोटो दाखवतो तुला थांब…

असं म्हणत तो मोबाईल स्क्रोल करू लागला..”

हिला पुन्हा धक्का बसला..

स्क्रोल करून झालं, त्याने परत तिच्याकडे पाहिलं आणि परत हसू लागला,

“कुत्र्या…sss…”

“पण मला एक सांग, तू का इतकी चिडते आहेस?”

“चिडू नको तर काय करू?”

“तेच विचारतोय, का?? काय कारण? माझी गर्लफ्रेन्ड कुणीही असो, तुला चिडायचं कारण काय?”

ती भांबावते, काय बोलावं कळेना…आपल्या मनात जे आहे तेच त्याचा मनात आहे की नाही याबद्दल तिच्या मनात संभ्रम निर्माण झाला..ती म्हणाली,

“चिडू नको तर काय? बेस्ट फ्रेंड सोबत असं खोटं बोलतात का?”

“अच्छा…म्हणून चिडली आहेस होय?”

“हो..”

“ठीक आहे, आता एकदम सिरियसली तुला खरं खरं सांगतो, तिचा खरा फोटो दाखवतो..”

आता तिचा संयम सुटला, अजून काही ऐकायच्या आधी ती जीव तोडून सांगू लागली,

“मूर्खा माझं तुझ्यावर जीवापाड प्रेम आहे म्हणून चिडतेय मी, तुझ्यासोबत आयुष्य घालवायचे स्वप्न पाहिलेत मी, तुझ्यासोबत संसाराची चित्र रंगवली आहेत मी..तू सोडून आयुष्यात कुणाचाही विचार नाही करू शकत मी…समजलं गाढवा??”

तो तिच्याकडे एकटक बघू लागला,

तिला पटकन मिठी मारली अन म्हणाला,

“म्हशे मग हेच तुला तोंडाने सांगायला काय झालेलं?”

“तुला नाही सांगता येत?”

“मी किती लाजाळू आहे माहितीये ना? नेहमी तूच पुढाकार घेत असतेस ना प्रत्येक ठिकाणी…मग मी वाट बघत होतो..”

“लाजाळू आणि तू?” ती मिठी सोडवत म्हणाली,

दोघेही पुन्हा हसू लागले,

अखेर प्रेम कबूल झाले, कमिटमेंट झाली..

आणि एक लव्ह स्टोरी पूर्ण झाली…
