 घरातील चारही मंडळी चिंताग्रस्त होती, सर्वजण किचन मध्ये उभी राहून गहन चर्चा करत होती. सर्वांना एक अशक्यप्राय गोष्ट शक्य करून दाखवायची होती. आज काहीही झालं तरी हे मिशन यशस्वी करायचं असा सर्वांनी निश्चयच केलेला.

“वाटतं तितकं हे मिशन सोपं नाहीये..त्यासाठी आपल्याला खूप मोठं धैर्य दाखवावं लागेल..” -सुजाता

“हो पण किती दिवस हा अन्याय सहन करायचा? काहीतरी मार्ग काढवाच लागेल ना?” – सुजाताचे सासरे

“एक तर आज महत्वाचा दिवस आहे, वेळ हुकली की महत्वाच्या गोष्टी सुटून जातात..” – सुजाताची सासू

“ठरलं तर मग..आता काहीही झालं तरी हे मिशन आज फत्ते करायचं..” – सुजाताचा नवरा

“हो पण मांजराच्या गळ्यात घंटा बांधणार कोण? कोण पुढाकार घेणार?” – सुजाता

“माझं आता वय झालंय, मला नाही झेपणार..” – सुजाताची सासू

“माझं पण तेच आहे..” – सुजाताचे सासरे

“मला तर शक्यच नाही होणार. ” – सुजाता

“म्हणजे उरतं कोण? मीच..” – सुजाताचा नवरा

“ठीक आहे चला, मी घेतो पुढाकार.. पण सगळं प्रॉपर प्लॅंनिंग ने व्हायला हवं..आई, तू ही वस्तू घेऊन उभी राहा.. कानठळ्या बसतील असा आवाज झाला की लगेच समोर ये…सुजाता, तू छान खाण्याचे पदार्थ घेऊन तयार राहा..आणि बाबा, तुम्ही वेगवेगळे आवाज काढून शत्रूचं लक्ष विचलित करा..”

सर्वांनी एकमताने या मिशनला सामोरं जाण्याचं ठरवलं..

“थांबा…” 

सुजाताने नवऱ्याला थांबवून त्याच्या कपाळावर टिळा लावला..

“विजयी भव..”

नवरा दबक्या पावलांनी हॉल मध्ये गेला. त्याचा 3 वर्षाचा लहान मुलगा tv वर कार्टून बघत होता आणि त्यात अगदी दंग होऊन गेलेला.. त्याची निरागसता बघुन नवऱ्याची भीती जरा कमी झाली..त्याने हळूच tv चा रिमोट घेतला..थरथरत्या हातांनी चॅनेल बदललं आणि….

कानठळ्या बसवणाऱ्या आवाजाने घर दुमदुमून गेलं..आईने आणलेलं चॉकलेट, आजीने हातात घेतलेली वस्तू आणि आजोबांनी मांजराचे काढलेले आवाज सगळे व्यर्थ… सर्वजण सैरभैर झाली..वादळ सुटल्यावर जसं कुठे पळू अन कुठे नको होतं तसंच सर्वांचं झालेलं..घरातल्या वस्तू इकडून तिकडे फेकल्या जात होत्या, एक शेवटचं उरलेलं फ्लॉवरपॉटही आता जमीनदोस्त झालं होतं..

अखेर सर्वांनी माघार घेतली, रिमोटवर पुन्हा कार्टून चॅनेल लावण्यात आलं आणि इतका वेळ घोंगावत असलेलं वादळ शमलं…

सर्वजण घामेघुम होऊन पुन्हा एकत्र जमले, पराभवाचा शिक्का घेऊन.. सर्वांनी शेवटी एकमताने ठरवलं..की असले अघोरी मिशन पुन्हा कधीच योजयचे नाहीत 😆😆😆
