 ती गोंधळली,

 

सासूबाई आत आल्या,

 

दार लावून घेतलं,

 

तिला कळेना काय सुरू आहे ते..

 

सासूबाईं हळूच म्हणाल्या,

 

“पोरी तुझा राग कळतोय मला..तुझ्या सारख्या शिकल्या सवरल्या मुलीला या पद्धती पटणार नाहीत.. खरं आहे, मलाही नाही पटायच्या… तुझी गोष्ट झाली..आता माझी ऐक..”

डोळे पुसत सासूबाई उठल्या आणि निघाल्या…

तिलाच वाईट वाटलं..

ती पुन्हा पुन्हा पाहू लागली,

 

 

पाहून तिचे अश्रू थांबेना..

 

आईने सासूबाईंच्या पाया पडल्या,
