त्या प्रसंगानंतर ट्रस्टी लोकांच्या आग्रहाने विद्या कॉलेज मध्ये रुजू होते. त्या कॉलेज ला काम मिळायला खरं तर नशीब लागायचं…पगार भरमसाठ आणि विद्यार्थ्यांना जास्त शिकवायची तसदी नव्हती….विद्यार्थी वर्गात बसतील तर शपथ…त्यामुळे प्रोफेसर लोकांचं धकुन जात होतं…

विद्या चा पहिला दिवस..छान कॉटन चा पंजाबी ड्रेस घालून ती तयार झाली..तिची पर्स घेतली, फ्रीज मधून पाण्याची बाटली घेण्यासाठी फ्रीज उघडलं…काल वडिलांनी वाटलेल्या पेढ्यांचं बॉक्स अजून फ्रीज मध्ये होतं.. त्यात 4-5 पेढे शिल्लक होते. वडिलांचा आनंद त्या बॉक्स मधून झळकत होता. तिने पाण्याची बाटली घेतली अन ती कॉलेज ला जायला निघाली.

पहिलाच दिवस..मनात धाकधूक होती. वर्गातली मुलं कशी असतील? कसा प्रतिसाद देतील? अशी एक ना अनेक प्रश्न घेऊन ती कॉलेजला पोहोचली. स्टाफ रूम मध्ये तिने पाऊल ठेवलं. सर्व शिक्षक मोबाईल मध्ये गुंग होती. सावंत सरांचं लक्ष तिच्याकडे गेलं..
