 आज मी नवीन साडी नेसलीये, हेयरकट केलाय हेही याला दिसू नये?

मला दोन शब्द कौतुकाचे बोलू नये?

तिला अजून वाईट वाटलं..

जेवणं सुरू झालेली,

पावभाजीचा मेनू होता..

सर्व पाहुणे जेऊन निघून जात होते,

शेवटी घरातली मंडळी उरलेली,

तिला जेवायची इच्छा नव्हती,

सर्व मंडळी जेवायच्या ठिकाणी आले,

पाव संपत आलेले,

केटरिंग वाला म्हणाला..आम्ही नवीन आणतो,  साधारण अर्धा तास लागेल..

तसा तो गर्दीत सर्वांसमोर मोठ्याने तिला म्हणाला,

“तू जेवलीस का गं?”

त्याच्या अश्या काळजीपोटी असलेल्या प्रश्नाने तिला धक्काच बसला,

सर्व नातेवाईक सोडून आज चक्क त्याने तिला विचारलं.. तेही सर्वांदेखत…

“अगं सकाळपासून काम करतेय, सकाळी नाष्टा सुदधा थोडा केलेला… जेवून घ्यायचं ना तू..”

सगळे नातेवाईक तिच्याकडे पाहू लागले,

आत्या, काक्या त्याला चिडवू लागल्या,

काय ती बायकोची काळजी..

नातेवाईक हसत होते,

ती लाजली…

तो तिच्याजवळ गेला आणि तिला हळूच बाजूला नेलं..

तोवर नातेवाईकांचं लक्ष दुसरीकडे वाळलेलं..

त्याने दोन डिश वाढून आणल्या,

भाजी, कांदे, पुलाव, 2 पाव..

आणि जवळच्या पिशवीतून हळूच अजून चार पाव बाहेर काढले,

“पाव संपत आलेले पाहिलं मी..म्हणून हळूच आधीच जास्तीचे पाव बाजूला काढून ठेवले तुझ्यासाठी.. आता खा बरं पोटभर..बाकीचे जेवतील नंतर..”

ती त्याच्याकडे बघतच राहिली..

नातेवाईकांच्या गराड्यात असूनही त्याचं मन त्याच्या बायकोकडे होतं..

तिच्या गरजांकडे त्याचं लक्ष होतं..

पण तिला कळायला उशीर झालेला..

आईचा फोन चालू होता,

केव्हा येतेय?

ती म्हणाली,

आज काही जमेल असं वाटत नाही, बघू नंतर…!!!

एका स्त्री ला काय हवं असतं?

नवऱ्याची साथ,

त्याचं लक्ष,

त्याचा वेळ..

त्याने कितीही माणसं सांभाळली,

तरी प्राथमिकता तिला हवी असते,

आणि ती जर मिळाली,

तर कदाचित..

तो सांभाळत असलेली माणसं,

ही अजून प्रेमाने सांभाळेल..
