त्याचा पगार कुठे जायचा कळेना,
मालक त्याच्या अर्धवट कामामुळे आणि वागणुकीमुळे वेळेवर पगार देत नसे,
नवऱ्याला सोडलं तरी तिचं काहीही बिघडणार नव्हतं,
पण मुलांसाठी बापाचं छत्र, नावाला का असेना पण हवं होतं..
गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून तो आजारी पडला होता,
लिव्हर कामातून गेलेलं,
उपचार सुरू होण्याआधीच त्याला देवाने उचलून नेलं..
त्याच्या मृत्यूने वाईट वाटावं असं काहीही नव्हतं,
पण तरी बायको धाय मोकलून रडत होती..
आजोबांनी मनूला तिथून दूर करत बाहेर नेलं,
पण तिच्या मानातुन प्रश्न जाईना..
घरी गेल्यावर तुझ्या आईला विचार,
आजोबांनी वेळ मारून नेली,
काही वेळाने ते घरी आले..
माणसं अंत्यविधीसाठी गेले, आजोबाही त्यांच्यासोबत गेले,
