नवरा बोलणार म्हणून ती थोडी बाजूलाच उभी होती,

तो माईकसमोर गेला,

समोर गर्दी पाहिली,

जवळपास 300 लोकं आणि त्यांचे 600 डोळे त्याच्याकडेच पाहत होते,

त्याचे पाय लटपटू लागले,

अंगाला घाम फुटला,

तोंडातून शब्द फुटेना,

तो एकदम ब्लॅंक झाला,

तिला ते समजलं,

तिचीच भीतीने गाळण उडाली,

मागून शिक्षिका आवाज देत होत्या,

“अहो बोला बोला..”

गर्दी एकमेकांकडे बघू लागली,

काहीजण हसू लागले,

तिला हे सगळं बघून धडधडायला झालं,

पण लक्ष अचानक तिच्या मुलाकडे गेलं,

हातात ट्रॉफी घेऊन केविलवाण्या डोळ्यांनी तो आई बाबांकडे बघत होता,

तिने त्याच्या डोळ्यातले भाव वाचले,

अंगात आईची शक्ती संचारली,

वेगळंच बळ आलं,

त्याला बाजूला करून ती माईक समोर गेली,

अन म्हणाली,

“माझ्या मुलामुळे आज इथे स्टेजवर माईकसमोर उभं राहून बोलायची संधी मिळतेय, याहून जास्त आनंद एका आई बापाला काय असेल? आम्हाला फार काही बोलता येत नसतांना आमचा मुलगा स्टेज गाजवतो, आपल्या वक्तृत्वाने बक्षीस जिंकतो. तेव्हा ती कमी भरून निघाल्यासारखी वाटते..आम्ही दोघे फारसे काही हुशार नव्हतो, ट्रॉफी वगैरे फक्त स्वप्नातच दिसे..पण आपलं स्वप्न एक 8 वर्षांचं एवढंसं लेकरू पूर्ण करतं… तेव्हा त्या आईला काय वाटतं याची जाणीव इथल्या सर्व आयांना नक्की असेल..मी सर्व शिक्षकांचे आणि शाळेची आभारी आहे, आज त्यांच्या संस्कारांनी माझ्या मुलाला प्रगती करतांना बघू शकतोय..धन्यवाद..”

तो तिच्याकडे बघतच राहिला,

समोर गर्दीतून टाळ्यांचा कडकडाट झाला,

अनेकांच्या डोळ्यात अश्रू आले,

आणि त्याच्याही,

थोडे अश्रू आनंदाचे,

आणि थोडे भीतीने रडकुंडीला आलेला त्याचे…

पोरगं तर उभं राहून, चेहऱ्यावर मोठं हास्य उमटवून जोरजोरात टाळ्या वाजवत होतं..

सगळं आटोपलं,

सर्वजण घरी निघाले,

घरी परतत असतांना ती त्याच्याकडे एकटक बघत होती,

आणि तो नजर लपवत होता…

ती हळूच पोराला म्हणाली,

“सोपं होतं रे, पहाड थोडीच उचलून न्यायचा होता..”

पोराने बापाकडे पाहिलं,

बापाने खिडकीबाहेर नजर वळवली ती थेट घर येईपर्यंत…

समाप्त..

परिस्थिती गंभीर असते,

पण तीच सर्वात जास्त खंबीर असते 😁😁😁
