कारण नुसतं जायचं नव्हतं,

उरली ही एकटी,

आई बोलणार म्हणून पोरगं नाचत होतं,

सर्व मित्रांना त्याने सांगून ठेवलं होतं,

पोरगं फारच गुणी,

नाव काढलं होतं त्याने शाळेत,

अभ्यासात, खेळात नेहमी पुढे,

कुणावर गेलेला काय माहित..

त्यात आदर्श विद्यार्थी पुरस्कार त्याला मिळाला,

आणि त्याच्या पालकांना स्टेजवर बोलावं लागेल असा निरोप आलेला..

ती नवऱ्याला म्हणाली,

“अहो चार लोकांसमोर बोलायला माझी ततफफ होते, तिथे स्टेजवर काय बोलणार?”

“अगं त्यात काय इतकं? मला ज्ञान देतांना कशी तुझी जीभ चुरचुरू चालते, तसंच बोल..”
