आशिष ने दार उघडलं तशी तिने आत येऊन आशिष ला मिठीच मारली…स्वरा किचन मधून बाहेर आली आणि फक्त बघतच राहिली…आशिष चे आई वडील यावर काय प्रतिक्रिया देतात हे पाहायला ती त्यांच्याकडे बघते, पण मुलाच्या बाबतीत इतके शिस्तप्रिय असणाऱ्या त्यांना मात्र याचं काहीही वाटत नव्हतं… स्वरा आतून कोसळत चालली होती…

आशिष चं काय? तोही तितक्याच तळमळीने तिला बिलगला होता…

अगदी काही क्षणापूर्वी सगळं कसं अगदी नॉर्मल होतं.. पण मागच्या काही मिनिटांनी स्वरा, आशिष आणि ईशिका च्या आयुष्यात वादळ उभं केलं..

ईशिका चं असं अचानक येणं आशिष ला अगदी अनपेक्षित होतं… स्वरासाठी ईशिका अनोळखी होती…आणि आशिष मात्र पुरता गोंधळात सापडला…

ईशिका…आशिष ची बालमैत्रिण.. दोघांचं कायम एकमेकांच्या घरी येणं जाणं असायचं, ईशिका ला आशिष च्या घरी आपली मुलगी म्हणूनच वागणूक मिळत असे…पण ती डिग्री नंतर पुढच्या शिक्षणाला अमेरिकेत गेली… आणि इकडे आशिष चं लग्न झालं..

ईशिका आत येताच तिचं यथेच्छ स्वागत झालं…आशिष ची आई..-

“किती दिवसांनी बघतेय तुला.. एक फोन नाही काही नाही…विसरलीस का आम्हाला??”

“असं कसं विसरेन काकू, इंडियात आल्या आल्या आधी इकडे आले…घरीही गेली नाही..”

छोटी खुशी बाहेर पळत येते..

या सगळ्या गोंधळात ईशिका चं स्वरा कडे लक्षच नसतं…”सून…आशिष ची बायको..” हे ऐकताच ईशिका सुन्न झाली…काही वेळापूर्वी सामान्य असलेली ईशिका आता आतून पार कोसळली…तिने बळेच एक स्मित केलं..

“बरं काकू, मला यायला हवं..”

“अगं आत्ता तर आलीयेस…कुठे निघाली..”

ईशिका काहीही न ऐकता निघून गेली…

आशिष च्या मनात चक्र फिरतच राहिलं… ईशिका चं प्रेम होतं का माझ्यावर?मग तिने तशी कबुली दिली नाही कधी, आणि तिकडे गेली तसा काही संपर्कही ठेवला नाही…मग कसं समजायचं मी सगळं??? आणि आता तिच्या वागण्यावरून स्पष्ट दिसतंय की तिला माझ्याबद्दल प्रेम होतं आणि तिचा प्रेमभंग झालाय..”

या सगळ्या गोंधळात स्वरा मात्र कात्रीत सापडली गेली…तिची काहीही चूक नसताना तिचं मन भरडलं जात होतं…4 वर्षाच्या सोन्यासारख्या संसाराला आता कुणाची तरी नजर लागली होती..

एका नातेवाईकाच्या सांगण्यावरून स्वरा चं स्थळ चालून आलं… मुलगी शिकलेली, सुंदर आणि मनमिळाऊ होती…त्यामुळे नकार द्यायला प्रश्नच नव्हता…स्वरा ने अल्पावधीतच सर्वांना आपलंसं केलं…मोठं कुटुंब सांभाळलं…मोठ्या कुटुंबाची जबाबदारी सांभाळायला म्हणून स्वतःचं शिक्षण, करियर सगळं बाजूला ठेवलं…आशिषही तिला फुलसारखं जपत होता..त्यात खुशीचा जन्म झाला आणि त्यांच्या संसाराला पूर्णत्व आलं…आशिष सुट्टीच्या दिवशी स्वरा ला फिरायला नेई, तिला तिच्या आवडीची खरेदी करू देई…तिच्या आवडीचे पदार्थ खाऊ घाली….खुशी ला गार्डन ची सैर करून येई…संसाराच्या भविष्यासाठी तो जमापुंजी साठवून एक जबाबदार पती आणि वडिलांची भूमिका निभावत होता…स्वरा च्या संसाराला कसली कसली कमी नव्हती…पण गेल्या काही मिनिटांनी या तिघांच्या आयुष्यात एक वादळ निर्माण झालं….

आशिष त्या दिवशी पूर्ण दिवस विचारात मग्न होता, स्वरा ला खूप इच्छा झाली की आशिष कडे जावं आणि त्याला विचारावं, हा काय प्रकार आहे ते..पण घरी सर्वांसमोर काही वाद नको म्हणून तिने टाळलं…

रात्री आपल्या खोलीत गेल्यावर तिने विषय काढण्या आधी तेलाची बाटली घेतली आणि नेहमीप्रमाणे आशिष च्या डोक्याची मालिश करायला त्याच्या जवळ गेली…

“वेळ?? कसला? कशासाठी??? काय बोलताय तुम्ही??”

“काही गोष्टी फक्त ऐकत जायच्या, का, कशासाठी विचारायच्या नाहीत…समजलं??”

स्वरा ला एव्हाना समजलं, की आता आयुष्यात फार मोठं वादळ येणार आहे ते..
