कामाच्या निमित्ताने माझा अनेक जातीधर्माच्या लोकांशी संपर्क येत असायचा. ऑस्ट्रेलिया,इराण, इराक, अमेरिका, इंग्लंड पासून ते पाकिस्तान मधील लोकांशी माझी चर्चा चालत असायची.त्यातच भारतातील काही लोकांशी बोलताना काहींचा माझ्या आडनावावरून गोंधळ उडाल्याने मला दुसऱ्या जातीच्या ग्रुप मध्ये ऍड केलं गेलं. नंतर पुन्हा एकदा एका दुसऱ्या जातीच्या ग्रुप मध्ये. असे अनेक जातींचे बिरुद मिरवताना खरं तर मजा यायची.पण या सगळ्यांच्या निरीक्षणातून काही गोष्टी मला प्रकर्षाने जाणवल्या आणि खंत वाटू लागली देशाच्या भविष्याची.

काही ग्रुप मध्ये सतत एकच चर्चा असायची, आमच्या जातीतील लोकांवर अन्याय होत आहे, आमच्यावर अन्याय होत आहे, आम्ही हे सहन करणार नाही, आम्ही हे खपवून घेणार नाही. सतत कुठूनतरी व्हिडीओ अपलोड व्हायचे, कुणावरतरी अत्याचार होतोय वगैरे.. त्या व्हिडीओ मध्ये किती सत्यता आहे हेही कळायला मार्ग नाही. आणि तत्सम जातीतील लोकं त्यावर अंधपणे विश्वास ठेवत आपल्यातील ‘अन्याय होतोय’ चा किडा सतत जिवंत ठेवायचे. तत्सम लोकांची स्टेटस, फेसबुक वॉल पहिली…तिथेही तेच..आमची जात, आमचं कुळ, आमची लोकं आणि आमच्यावरचा अन्याय… मनाला प्रश्न पडला, ही अन्याय करणारी लोकं तरी नेमकी कोणती आणि अन्याय सहन करणारी कोणती?

काय असेल यामागचं कारण? राजकारणी लोकं आपल्या स्वार्थासाठी लोकांमध्ये हीच गोष्ट सतत हॅमर करून त्यांच्यात द्वेष पसरवत असतील का? लोकांना आपला विकास कशात आहे हे न समजता केवळ अन्याय होतोय अन्याय होतोय असा दिंडोरा पिटवून काय साध्य होत असेल?

समाजात काही टक्का लोकं असतील की जे अस्पृश्यता पाळत असतील, पण अश्या तोकड्या समाजकंटाकांमुळे पूर्ण समाजाला दोषी धरून काय उपयोग?

वेळीच जागे व्हा, आपल्याला आपल्या जातीबद्दल, धर्माबद्दल अभिमान निश्चित आहे… पण म्हणून दुसऱ्या जातीला आणि धर्माला कमी लेखणे म्हणजे स्वतःच्याच जातीचा अन धर्माचा अपमान करून घेण्यासारखे आहे.
उठा अन जागे व्हा..कुणीही आपल्यावर अन्याय करत नाहीये, कारण तुम्ही स्वतःला अश्या उंचीवर नेलंय की अन्याय करण्याइतपत कुणाची इतकी बिशाद नाही..आणि कुणी असं केलंच तर त्याच्याच जातीतील लोकं तुमच्या पाठीशी उभी राहतील हेही ध्यानात घ्या…जग ज्या दिशेने जातंय त्या दिशेने वाटचाल करा..प्रगती करा…नवनवीन गोष्टी शिका…नवनवीन तंत्रज्ञान शिका…नाहीतर पुढील कित्येक पिढ्या अन्याय होत नसतानाही “तुमच्यावर अन्याय होतोय” हेच तुम्हाला शिकवत राहतील…आणि राजकारणी लोकं याचा फायदा घेऊन पुढे जातील..तुम्ही पुन्हा तिथेच रहाल, त्या काळ्याकुट्ट अंधारात…
