 थोडा भाजीपाला लावला..

तिचा पूर्ण दिवस यात जाऊ लागला..

बागकामच्या वेगवेगळ्या पद्धती शोधणं,

खत तयार करणं..

मशागत करणं..

यात तिला तिच्या दुःखाचा विसर पडला..

घरची मंडळी अस्वस्थ होऊ लागली..

आपल्या मागे मागे करणारी आई आता वेगळ्या विश्वात रमतेय…

आईला बोलवायला आता बागेत जावं लागायचं..

आतापर्यंत हाक दिली की आई आपल्या जागेवर हजर असायची..

आता तिला भेटायला तिच्या विश्वात जावं लागायचं..

आईलाही एक वेगळं विश्व असू शकतं ही गोष्ट त्यांच्या लवकर पचनी पडत नव्हती..

एके दिवशी तिच्या बागेत काही माणसं आली..

“नमस्कार, आम्ही आरोग्यसमृद्धी संस्थेकडून आलो आहोत..तुमच्या बागेत काही सेंद्रिय भाजीपाला लागवड करू शकाल काय? आम्ही एके ठिकाणी सेंद्रिय भाजीपाल्याची विक्री करतो..किंमत जास्त असल्याने फार कमी आणि आरोग्यविषयी जागृत असणारी लोकच येतात पण सगळा भाजीपाला संपतो…”

तिचे डोळे चमकले..

तिचं विश्व विस्तारत होतं..

त्याला नवनवीन दिशा मिळत होती..

हरवलेलं गवसत होतं..

तिचं काम सुरू झालं, हातात भरपूर पैसे येऊ लागले..

आयुष्यात पहिल्यांदाच ती इतकी समाधानी होती..

आता आपल्याशी बोलावं म्हणून नवऱ्याची ती वाट बघत नाही,

मुलांनी आपली विचारपूस करावी अशी आशा ठेवत नाही..

कुणाकडूनच कसलीच अपेक्षा ठेवत नाही..

कारण हे सगळं करायला तिच्याकडे वेळ कुठे असायचा?

ती तिच्या विश्वात रममाण झालेली..

आता तिचा नवरा तिची वाट बघतो, तिच्याशी दोन शब्द बोलायला मिळावे म्हणून आसुसतो..

मुलं आता आईची वाट बघतात,

एका हाकेवर आता आई हजर होत नाही त्यामुळे त्या हाकेची किंमत त्यांना समजतेय…

बायको/आई पैशांच्या गरजेसाठी आपल्याकडे येते ही त्यांची आशाही संपुष्टात आली…

तिने तिचं विश्व उभारलं आणि समाधानी राहू लागली,

मैत्रिणींनो,

प्रत्येक स्त्रीचं असं एखादं विश्व असावं, 

ज्यात ती आणि फक्त ती असावी..

ना अपेक्षांचं ओझं असावं, 

ना अपेक्षाभंगाची तगमग..

दुनियेने कितीही लथाडलं,

तरी या विश्वात निवांत विहरता यावं..

प्रत्येक स्त्रीचं एक स्वतंत्र विश्व असावं..
