त्या स्त्रीचं मात्र काही समाधान झालं नाही,
“डॉक्टर कशामुळे होतंय हे? म्हणजे बघा मला खूप कामं करावी लागतात घरात…कसं आहे, सुनबाई नोकरी…”
“अहो त्यामुळे काहीही होत नाही, उलट कामं केली की व्यायाम होतो..”
असं म्हणत शिल्पा एकदा त्यांचा सुनेकडे बघते…
“एक मिनिट, तपासायची गरज तुम्हाला नाही यांना आहे, हे डोळ्याखाली काळी वर्तुळं कसली आली? आणि चेहरा कसा पांढराफटक पडलाय,मला वाटतं तुम्हाला रक्ताची कमी आहे आणि तुम्हाला आराम गरजेचा आहे..”
हे ऐकताच मुलाच्या खांद्यावर हात टाकून जवळ जवळ उचलून आणलेल्या सासूबाई एकदम दोन पायावर उभ्या राहिल्या, अंगात एकदम त्राण आला आणि त्या म्हणाल्या..”
“तिला काय धाड भरलीये, तिच्यामुळे घरातलं सगळं मला पाहावं लागतं, आणि दुखणी लागली माझ्यामागे…दोन पायावर उभही राहता येत नाही मला..”
सर्वजण त्यांचा पायाकडे बघतात, त्या दोन्ही पायांवर धडधडीत उभ्या असतात…
“अभिनंदन… अहो माझा नुसता हात लागला आणि तुम्ही बऱ्या झालात..”
“खूप खूप आभार डॉक्टर मॅडम, तुमच्याकडे नुसतं आणलं आणि आई उभी राहिली…तुमच्याबद्दल ऐकलं ते खरं होतं, तुमच्या नुसत्या नजरेने तुम्ही पेशंट ला बरं करता…”
सुनेची तपासणी केली, खरोखर नोकरी अन घर सांभाळता सांभाळता आलेल्या ताणाचा परिणाम तिच्या आरोग्यावर झाला होता, शिल्पा ने तिला आराम करायला सांगून सासूबाईंना चार व्यायाम जास्त करायला सांगितले.. सूनबाईने मनोमन डॉक्टर चे आभार मानले आणि तिघे तिथून निघून गेले..
