 घरी ना शेती होती ना स्वतःचं घर,

सगळं शून्यापासून सुरवात करायची होती,

घरच्यांनी खूप समजावलं, पण तिने त्यालाच पकडून ठेवलं,

अखेर तिचं त्याच्याशी लग्न लावून देण्यात आलं,

एका खोलीत राहायचा तो, कंपनीत कामाला होता, जेमतेम पगार..पण स्वप्न मोठी..

तिने त्याला साथ दिली, 

तो म्हणायचा..

माझ्याकडे काय बघून होकार दिलास?

हेच, शून्यातून विश्व निर्माण करण्याची वृत्ती..या वृत्तीचा माणूस आयुष्यात कधीही हरत नाही..आयुष्याचा राजा बनतो, आणि आपल्या स्त्री ला राणी..

त्याला हे ऐकून रडू यायचं, पण आपल्यावर कमालीचा विश्वास दाखवणाऱ्या बायकोला कधीही दुखवायचं नाही हे त्याने ठरवलं..

मोठी बहीण आणि धाकली बहीण दोघींचे संसार सुरळीत सुरू होते,

दोघांना मुलं झाली होती,

मोठीची मुलं शाळेत जायची तेव्हा लहानीच्या घरात नुकतंच बाळ आलेलं..

लहानीचा संघर्ष सुरू होता, नवरा खुप कष्ट घेत होता, प्रगती करत होता पण गती संथ होती..

तिला तरी कुठे घाई होती, 

नवरा धडपड करतोय हेच तिला खूप होतं,

काटकसर अजूनही सुरूच होती,

मोठी बहीण लहानीला भेटायला यायची,

येतांना बॅग भरून कपडे आणायची,

नवे? छे… कपाट आवरलं की ढीगभर कपडे निघायचे, मुलांना ते लहान व्हायचे,

मग ते कुठे टाकायचे हा प्रश्न पडायचा, मग थोरली बहीण धाकलीकडे जाई..तिच्या मुलांना ते कपडे देई..

धाकलीची मुलं आवडीने ते घालत, ते वाटच बघत असायची खरं तर..

कारण हौसमौज करण्या इतपत त्यांची अजून परिस्थिती नव्हती,

धाकली बघायची,

मळकट, कुठेतरी फाटलेले, उसवलेले कपडे तिला दिसायचे,

आपली मुलं ते जुने कपडे मिरवताय हे तिला दिसायचं,

पण ती काही बोलायची नाही,

बहिणीचं प्रेम समजून स्वीकारायची,

थोरलीची मुलं लाडात वाढत होती, धाकलीच्या मुलांना धाक असायचा, अभ्यासाच्या बाबतीत त्यांचे वडील शिस्तीचे होते…
