पलीकडून पोलीस बोलत होते,

“तुम्ही सरनाईकांकडे कामाला आहात ना? ताबडतोब इकडे या..”

ती घाबरत घाबरत तिकडे जायला निघाली,

जाताना मोठ्या मुलाला सांगून गेली, मी आलीच अर्ध्या तासात, मालकीण बाईंच्या घरी जातेय..

तिकडे गेल्यावर बंगल्यावर प्रचंड गर्दी ..पोलिसांचा घेरा..आजूबाजूची लोकं जमा झाली होती..

रिपोर्टर जमले होते,

काहीतरी अघटित घडलं होतं,

ती पोलिसांपाशी गेली,

“साहेब तुम्ही फोन केलेला..”

तिला विश्वास बसत नव्हता,

अगं कुठे होतीस? किती काळजी वाटलेली मला..

तिच्या नवऱ्याच्या डोळ्यातील शुद्ध प्रेम बघून तिला समजलं, राजाची खरी राणी कोण होती..

राणी बनून राहण्यापेक्षा..

निर्व्यसनी, एकनिष्ठ आणि प्रामाणिक नवरा मिळणं..

हे स्त्रीचं सर्वात मोठं सुख असतं…

त्याची किंमत आज तिला कळली,
