मग दोघेही हातात हात घालून घरात यायचे,

दर चार दिवसांनी तो तिला काही ना काही भेटवस्तू आणे,

कधी महागडा ड्रेस, कधी नेकलेस तर कधी काय..

घरी गेल्यावर मीना तिच्या नवऱ्याला हे सगळं कौतुक सांगत असायची..

तिचा नवरा तिला चिडवायचा,

बघ, नाहीतर तू..माझ्या सारख्या गरिबाशी लग्न केलं उगाच.

ती अजून चिडायची,

तिचा नवरा आला,
