शिंदे काकूंना राग आला, सुनांचं कौतुक सोडून मुलाची गौरवगाथा काय सुरू केली या बाईने…त्या काही बोलणार इतक्यात सुनंदा आणि ललिता ने त्यांना “जाऊद्या..” अशी खूण केली..

पण ललिता सासूबाईंसोबतच बसून होती, आणि सुनंदा आत नंबर लावायला गेली…डॉकटर कडे गेल्यावर दोन्ही सुनांनीं काळजीपोटी सर्व माहिती डॉक्टरांना विचारली..पथ्य काय पाळावं, व्यायाम कसा करायचा…कुठला आहार द्यायचा…परत कधी यायचं…

डॉकटर लाही नवल वाटलं..कारण मुलं इतकी खोलवर काळजी करत नव्हती आणि इतकं विचारतही नव्हती…

काम झालं आणि सर्वजण घरी आले…

दोघींचे नवरे काही वेळाने परत आले..आणि ललिता व सुनंदा ला इशारा करत सांगितलं..”बघा आता तुमचं कसं कौतुक होईल…”

“आई…जाऊन आले का मग दवाखान्यात?”

इतक्यात शिंदे बाई घरात आल्या..

“काय हो? झाली का तपासणी?”

“हो झाली..माझ्या लेकरांनी बघा आल्या आल्या माझी चौकशी केली…इतके दमून आले पण आधी माझी काळजी त्यांना…”
