कल्पक आत किचनमध्ये जातो..आणि परत येतो..

“वाटलंच मला, अगं दीड पोळी जेवलीस तू फक्त..इतकं काम करून एवढंसं जेवण? तुला नसेल तुझी काळजी पण मला आहे…”

“अरे…ऐक तर..”

“काहीही ऐकायचं नाही, थांब तू जरा..”

कल्पक आत गेला आणि छानपैकी मुगाची खिचडी त्याने बनवून आणली..

तो गरम गरम खिचडी बनवून आला आणि तिला काहीसं टेन्शन आलं..

“टेन्शन घेऊ नका मॅडम, किचनओटा पुसून ठेवलाय, सगळ्या वस्तू जागेवर ठेवल्या आहेत आणि तुझं खाऊन झालं की भांडीही घासून ठेवणार आहे..”

ती हसायला लागली,

“तुम्हा बायांना हेच टेन्शन असतं ना? काम थोडं पण आवराआवर जास्त…”

“नाहीतर काय…अरे, आज ना माझ्या सासूचा फोन आलेला…”

“होका? काहीतरी काम असणार, दुसरं काय..”

“होना…म्हणे चार दिवस ये इकडे हवापालट करायला..”

“हवापालट नाही, पाहुणे येणार असतील ना म्हणून बोलावत असतील तुला…त्यांचा स्वयंपाक वगैरे बघायला..”

“सगळं बरोबर ओळखतोस हं तू”

“आजिबात जायचं नाहीस…तुझ्या बाळंतपणाच्या वेळेस कुठे कोण आलेलं? तू इतकी अशक्त, तुला मदत करायचं सोडून उलट तुझ्याकडूनच पाहुणचार घ्यायला आलेले सगळे…वर एक कामाला हात लावला नाही त्यांनी..”

“ते आहे…पण जावं लागेल रे मला..”

“नाही म्हणतोय तरी..”

“अरे आपण आपल्या कर्तव्यात कशाला चुकायचं? आणि पडली अंगावर दोन कामं तर कुठे बिघडतं?”
