 त्याला पाणी तरी आण, चहा ठेव..

मोठी जाऊ क्षणाचाही विलंब न करता म्हणाली,

मी आणते, बसा तुम्ही गप्पा मारत..

दोघांच्या त्या संवादात ती तिचा भाऊ अनुभवत होती..

लहान जावेची नजर अधूनमधून मोठ्या जावेकडे जाई..

लहान जावेच्या मनात काहीतरी शिजत होतं… पण ती आत्ता बोलणार नव्हती..

लहान जावेने भावाला ओवाळले, भावानेही तिला मनापासून आशीर्वाद आणि भरपूर वस्तू गिफ्ट म्हणून दिल्या..

लहान जाऊ खुश होती,

सासुबाई म्हणाल्या,

“चांगला हौशी आहे तुझा भाऊ, अगदी तुमच्या नवऱ्यांसारखा…”

त्याचेही नाव निघाले,

लहान जाऊ सुखावली,

जेवणं झाली, भाऊ निघाला..

सगळं आवरलं गेलं, सासुबाई म्हणाल्या..

“चला, झाली एकदाची भाऊबीज…झोपा आता..”

लहान जाऊ म्हणाली, “अजून बाकी आहे थांबा..”

 

आता काय राहिलं? – सासुबाई..

लहान जावेने नवऱ्याला आवाज दिला,

बसायला टाकलं, पूजेचे ताट घेऊन आली..तिचा नवराही मोठी पिशवी घेऊन हसत चटईवर बसला..

हे काय सुरू आहे? सर्वांना प्रश्न पडला..

“मोठया जाउबाई, चला..यांना ओवाळून घ्या”

मोठ्या जाउबाईला आनंदाचा धक्काच बसला, एक तर तिला भाऊ नव्हता…पण आजवर लहान दिराने तिला भावसारखं प्रेम दिलेलं, पण म्हणून त्याला आज ओवाळून घे हे म्हणायचं  कुणाच्याही डोक्यात आलं नाही..

लहान जावेने मात्र भावाबद्दल असलेली ओढ मोठ्या जाउबाईच्या डोळ्यात वाचली होती..

मोठ्या जावेने साश्रूनयनांनी दिराला भाऊ म्हणून ओवाळले..

दिरानेही तिच्या हातात मावणार नाही एवढं सगळं तिच्या हातात दिलं..

भाऊबीज पूर्ण झाली,

सासूला कौतुक वाटलं,

“बघा माझी दोन्ही मुलं किती कुटुंबवत्सल आहेत..”

सर्वजण आपापल्या खोलीत गेले,

दीर त्याच्या बायकोला म्हणाला,

“तू सांगितलं तसंच सगळं केलं बरं का…खुश??”

पुरुषाच्या वत्सल स्वभावामागे एक अदृश्य हात असतो,

पुरुषाचं कौतुक होतं, 

पण त्यामागे एक प्रेमळ शक्ती उभी असते,

तिलाच बायको म्हणतात..

ती अदृश्य असते, दिसत नाही..

विचार तिचे असतात,

पण ओंजळ मात्र नवऱ्याची भरली जाते,

आणि त्या ओंजळीतच तिचं सुख असतं..
