 एके दिवशी शरीराने बंड पुकारलं तशी ती कोसळली,

तो नेहमीप्रमाणे घरी नव्हताच, सासुबाई देवळात..

कामवाली बरी घरात होती,

तिने पटापट पवित्रा घेतला आणि ती हॉस्पिटलमध्ये ऍडमिट झाली,

याला समजल्यावर तो धावपळ करत गेला,

धक्का बसलेला,

कारण…

ती नेहमी हेल्दीच असणार,

कायम आपल्या दिमतीतच असणार,

आपलं सगळं करणार,

अगदी शेवटपर्यंत,

हे गृहितच धरलेलं त्याने..

त्याच्या अडचणी तो पुढे करायचा,

पण तिच्याही अडचणी आहेत हे कधी समजूनच घेतलं नाही,

डॉकटर विचारायचे,

“त्यांना कधीपासून हा त्रास होता? त्यांचं रुटीन कसं होतं? त्यांचा आहार कसा होता?”

त्याला उत्तर देता येत नव्हती, तेव्हा अजूनच वाईट वाटायचं…

आठ दिवस झाले,

ती शुद्धीवर आली,

त्याने देवाला नमस्कार केला,
