सर्वप्रथम त्याच्या आत्महत्येची बातमी आली, त्याच्या चाहत्यांना अन पूर्ण भारतालाच जबरदस्त धक्का बसला…तो आत्महत्या करूच शकत नाही म्हणून लोकांनी आणि मीडियाने आरडाओरडा करायला सुरुवात केली. आत्महत्या करणाऱ्याला त्याचं दुःख त्यालाच माहीत असतं, ते सार्वजनिक असणं गरजेचं नाही…पण लोकांच्या ते पचनी न पडल्याने हजारो बनावट कथा सांगितल्या गेल्या…

त्याची हत्या त्याच्या प्रेयसिनेच केली, त्याच्या हत्येमागे बॉलिवूड मधील मोठे कलाकार होते इथपासून ते त्याला विष देण्यात येईपर्यंत कितीतरी कथा ऐकवल्या गेल्या… लोकांनी साध्या घटनेचा उदो उदो करून एखाद्या चित्रपटाला शोभेल अश्या कहाण्या बनवल्या आणि ऐकवल्या… का? कशासाठी? आपण काल्पनिक विश्वात इतके गुंतलो आहोत का की समोरच्या सरळ साध्या प्रकरणामागेही आपल्याला अगदी CID ते रॉ एजंट चा हात दिसतो? प्रत्येक गोष्टीमागे काहीतरी गूढ असणं आवश्यक नसतं आणि ते असावंच असा आग्रह धरणंही चुकीचंच…

मुंबई पोलिसांनी योग्य मार्गाने तपास सुरू केला तरी ते विकले गेले असा आरोप लावून बिहार पोलिसांना निमंत्रण गेलं…त्यांचे वाद संपत नसताना CBI ला मध्ये गोवलं गेलं…किती सरळपणे लोकं म्हणाली, की पोलिसांना पैसे दिले गेले आहेत आणि ते प्रकरण दाबू पाहताय…कारण त्यामागे मंत्र्यांच्या मुलाचा हात आहे…खरंच हे इतकं सोपं आहे का? एकही जण असा नसेल का की जो दबावाखाली न येता बाहेर वाच्यता करेल? कसा असेल? लोकांना हेच ऐकायचं आहे…की सगळे विकले गेलेत..आम्ही तेवढे फक्त शुद्ध….पोलिसांपासून ते मुख्यमंत्र्यांपर्यंत सर्वांनाच इथे गोवलं गेलं…

सोशल मीडियावर वर तर प्रसिद्धीसाठी त्याच्या मृत्यूचा अक्षरशः खेळ मांडला गेला..अमुक थेअरी, तमुक थेअरी, मिस्ट्री वूमन, मिस्ट्री बॉय, वो कौन था, पोलिसांच्या वेशात तो गुन्हेगार कोण… अश्या तोंडात बोटं घालायला लावणाऱ्या बातम्या दिसू लागल्या… लोकांनी तर अक्षरशः त्याला जस्टीस देण्यासाठी फेसबुक पेज तयार केले, युट्युब वर चॅनेल सुरू केले…कारण हा विषय ट्रेंडिंग होता…त्याच्या मृत्यूचा बाजार मांडला गेला…लोकांनी TRP मिळवले , प्रसिद्धी मिळवली…बरं एवढेही पुरेसे नाही, त्याच्या आत्म्याशीही काही महाभागांनी सम्पर्क केला…त्यात रिया चक्रवर्ती चं जीणं मुश्किल करून टाकलं… अंकिता लोखंडे ने मधेच डोकं वर काढलं… कंगना ने नव्याच वादात उडी घेतली…अर्णब भाऊ तर देशाचे सुपरहिरो होऊन बसले…त्यात भर म्हणून ड्रग्स प्रकरण समोर आलं आणि दीपिका पासून ते IPL मधील KKR चं नाव पुढे आलं…

लोकं ओरडत होते, justice for sushant, CBI for sushant… अरे ज्याने स्वतःच्या मर्जीने स्वतःला संपवलं त्याला कुठला न्याय हवाय? कुणाच्यातरी प्रभावाखाली येऊन एवढी संपत्ती असतानाही जीवाचं बरवाईट करताना नसेल केला त्याने विचार, असेल त्याचं काहीतरी मनात, असेल एखादी सल…पण त्याची आत्महत्याही सार्वजनिक होऊन बसली अन लोकांना एक खुमासदार विषय मिळाला..

मीडिया, सर्वसामान्य जनता आणि त्याच्या नावाने प्रसिद्धी मिळवू पाहणाऱ्यांना एकच म्हणणं आहे…प्रत्येक घटनेमागे काहीतरी रंगतदार कहाणीच असायला हवी असं नाही… काही घटना या साध्या सरळ असतात…त्या पचनी पाडून घेण्याची “न्यूज”प्रतिकारक शक्ती सर्वांनी आता वाढवणं गरजेचं आहे…
