चूक-3 अंतिम

पण या एका मदतीमुळे त्याला खूप दिलासा मिळाला होता,

नयना वेळोवेळी येऊन त्यांची काळजी घेत होती,

एके दिवशी त्यांनी तिला विचारलं,

“बाळा कुठे राहतेस? लग्न झालंय का?”

“बाबा मी हॉस्पिटलशेजारीच एक खोली घेऊन राहतेय, दिवसभर हॉस्पिटलमध्ये जातो”

“आणि लग्न??”

“आयुष्यात एकदाच प्रेम केलेलं बाबा, ते विसरता येणं शक्य नाही..”

एवढं बोलून ती पटकन तिथून उठली आणि निघून गेली..

बाबांना डिस्चार्ज मिळाला,

घरी जातेवेळी त्यांनी पाहिलं,

एक गुंड नयनाशी हुज्जत घालत होता,

मुलगा काउंटर वर काही फॉर्म भरत होता, त्याला आवाज दिला पण हॉस्पिटलमधल्या गोंगाटात आवाज गेला नाही,

ते एकटेच चालत जवळ गेले,

त्यांनी बोलणं ऐकलं..

“हे बघ बाई, तुला याच महिन्यात भाडं द्यावं लागेल..”

“अहो तुम्ही कुठलीही पूर्वकल्पना न देता पैसे वाढवले, असे अचानक पैसे कुठून आणू मी? तुम्हाला या महिन्याचं भाडं देते ना मी पूर्ण, जास्तीचे पैसे भरायला थोडा वेळ तर द्या..”

“नाही देणार.. काय करशील?”

“अहो मी कुठे जाऊ एकटी? मला ना नातेवाईक ना आई वडील..थोडं समजून घ्या..” ती रडकुंडीला येत म्हणाली..

“रस्त्यावर रहा नाहीतर भीक माग.. मला काही घेणं नाही”

वडिलांचा संताप झाला,

ते ताडकन त्या गुंडाकडे गेले आणि त्याच्या जोरात कानाखाली वाजवली,

तो गुंड घाबरला,

“काय म्हणालास? रस्त्यावर रहा? अरे ही रस्त्यावर पडलेली दिसते का तुला… इथे हॉस्पिटलमध्ये रुग्णांची सेवा करण्याचं पुण्याचं काम करतेय ती..तुझ्यासारखी अरेरावी करत पोट नाही भरत..”

“ओ बाबा, हा आमच्यातला मॅटर आहे, तुम्ही कोण आले मला सांगायला? कोण लागते ही तुमची..”

बाबांचे डोळे लाल झाले, आवेशाने तव म्हणाले..

“सून आहे ती माझी..”

हॉस्पिटलमध्ये सर्वजण बघतच राहिले,

मुलगा धावत तिथे आला..

तीसुद्धा बघतच राहिली..

गुंड खजील होऊन तिथून निघून गेला..

मुलगा आणि नयना बाबांकडे बघतच राहिले,

“नयना, सामान उचल आणि चल आपल्या घरी…मी केलेली चूक सुधारायची एक संधी मला दे..”

नयना आणि तो, एकमेकांकडे साश्रूनयनाने बघतच राहिले..

खूप दिवसांनी आणि मोठया दिव्यानंतर त्यांच्या प्रेमाला नियतीने एकत्र आणलं..

आणि त्या एका निर्णयाने तीन जणांचे आयुष्य मार्गी लागले…
