दोन दिवस आधीपासूनच तिच्या डोक्यात गणपतीसाठीची तयारी सुरू होती. ती स्वतःशीच बडबड करत होती,
“मोदक करायचेत, नारळ उद्याच आणून ठेऊयात. मैदा किती आहे बघावा लागेल.. पत्री, फुलं, पूजेचं सामान सगळं वेळेवर तयार हवं, यावेळी काहीही झालं तरी सकाळी 11 च्या आत मूर्तीची स्थापना करायची. दरवेळी ठरवते पण उशीर होतोच.. यावेळी असं करायचं नाही..”
तिला झोपच येत नव्हती, एकेक गोष्टी तिला आठवत होत्या.
दुसऱ्या दिवशी ती नवऱ्याला म्हणाली,
“उद्या सुट्टी आहे ना तुम्हाला? हे बघा मी आधीच सांगून ठेवते, अजिबात टंगळमंगळ करायची नाही..सुट्टी आहे म्हणून उशिरा उठणं आणि आरामशीर आवरणं चालणार नाही…नेहमीचं आहे तुमचं,सकाळी एक काम सांगितलं तर दुपारी करणार, दुपारी सांगितलं तर संध्याकाळी.. इतके कसे हो थंड तुम्ही? सगळी धावपळ मीच करायची का?”
तिचा नेहमीप्रमाणे पारा चढला..
कारण तिचं प्लॅनिंग परफेक्ट असायचं, त्यातली नवऱ्याची कामं नवऱ्याने चुकवली की सगळं प्लॅनिंग बारगळणार…
“डोन्ट वरी, मै हु ना..”
नेहमीचा त्याचा डायलॉग..
“तुम हो ना म्हणूनच सगळं वेळापत्रक बिघडतं माझं..”
असं म्हणत तिने त्याच्या हातात एक कागद दिला..उद्या काय काय करायचं याची लिस्ट होती..
सकाळी 7 ला उठणे
7:30 पर्यंत अंघोळ करून रेडी हवे.
7:30-8 बाजारात जाऊन पूजेचं सामान, नारळ, मैदा आणि इतर काही वस्तू आणणे
8:30 ला नाष्टा मिळेल
9 ला गणपतीची तयारी, डेकोरेशन करायचे
9:30 ला मुलांना सोबत नेऊन मूर्ती आणायची
10 वाजता पूजेला सुरवात
11 ला नेवैद्य दाखवून जेवायला बसायचे
त्याने हे पूर्ण वाचलं पण नाही, आणि कागद तसाच बाजूला ठेवला..ती चिडली,
“उचला तो, दहा वेळा वाचा..यात एक जरी मिनिट इकडेतिकडे झाला तर बघा..”
“डोन्ट वरी, मै….”
“बस्स.. समजलं..”
दुसरा दिवस उजाडला,
7 वाजले तरी नवरोबा झोपूनच,
