नवीन काहीतरी खूळ डोक्यात घालून घ्यायचं आणि माती खायची,
पक्यासाठी हे नवीन नव्हतं,
नववीतला आपला पक्या,
मास्तरांनी शाळेत सांगितलं, रोज डायरी लिहायची,
त्यातूनच एखाद्या लेखक जन्माला येतो,
पक्या इरेला पेटला,
दुकानात गेला,
एक डायरी मागितली,
दुकानदार तीक्ष्ण नजरेने त्याच्याकडे बघत होता,
पक्याच्या डोळ्यात वेगळीच चमक दिसत होती,
एखादा प्रतिभावंत लेखकाला पुरस्कार मिळाल्यानंतर त्याच्या चेहऱ्यावर असणारं तेज,
पक्याच्या चेहऱ्यावर ते डायरी घेतानाच दिसत होतं,
पक्या डायरी घेऊन घरी आला,
खोलीत त्याची लहान बहीण होती,
ती दिसताच त्याने डायरी लपवली,
सिनेमात पाहिलं होतं, कुणाची डायरी वाचू नये आणि वाचू देऊही नये,
त्याने तिची नजर चुकवत गपचूप पुस्तकांच्या ढिगाऱ्याखाली ती ठेवली, आणि दिवस संपायची वाट बघू लागला,
कारण मास्तरांनी सांगितलं होतं, दिवसभरात काय झालं ते डायरीत लिहायचं,
त्यानेही विचार केला,
उद्या यदा कदाचित आत्मचरित्र लिहायची वेळ आली आणि आपल्याला मागचं काही आठवलच नाही तर?
मास्तरांनी वेळेत आपल्याला जागं केलं, नाहीतर किती पंचाईत झाली असती ब्वा !
