“वसुंधराला कळा सुरू झाल्या…मी निघतो..”
“अरे तिच्या घरी कुणी नाही का? इकडे दुर्गाला कधीही कळ येईल.”
“आई इकडे धावपळ करायला अख्ख गाव आहे, तिकडे एक तर तिच्या घरी कुणी नाही, एकटी बहीण काय काय करेल.”
आईला प्रचंड राग आला पण सतीश काही थांबणार नव्हता…

काही तासाने दुर्गा ने आपल्या नवऱ्याला फोन लावला, तिची आई आणि ती समोरासमोर होत्या, आईलाही नेमका तेव्हाच सतीश चा फोन आला,
“आई, मुलगा झालाय…”
“इकडे आपल्या दुर्गेलाही मुलगा झालाय, तू ये लवकर..”
“आई मी अजून 2 दिवस तरी येणार नाही, इकडे धावपळ करायला कुणी नाही..”
आईचा संताप झाला,
“तू जर आजच्या आज आला नाहीस तर तुझ्या बायका मुलांना घेऊन तिथेच रहा, इकडे पाय ठेवायचा नाही..”
असं म्हणत आईने फोन ठेऊन दिला..ती वॉर्डमध्ये आली, समोर पाहिलं तर दुर्गा रडत होती,
“काय ग पोरी काय झालं?”
“मी यांना इकडे बोलावलं तर त्यांच्या आईने माझ्यासमोर त्यांना साफ बजावलं, की बहिणीच्या मिस्टरांसोबत तू थांब..बायकोकडे गेलास तर इकडची कवाडं तुला कायमची बंद…”
आई काहीक्षण स्तब्ध झाली,
या प्रसंगात ती स्वतःलाच बघत होती,
बाहेरून रेडिओ वर भजन सुरू होतं…
ते अगदी तंतोतंत लागू होत होतं…
“कर्म येतसे फिरुनी…नाही त्याला गाव…
जैसे ज्याचे कर्म तैसे, फळ देतोची ईश्वर..”
