तु खरच माझ्या वर प्रेम करतो का?©️®️शिल्पा सुतारकबीर लवकर ऑफिसला जायला निघाला. तो मामाशी बोलला नाही. इथे ऑफिस मधे काय सुरू आहे आणि हा मामा स्वतः च बघतो. या पुढे कामावर फोकस करायच.काल खुशीला लागल होत. ऑफिसला येते की नाही माहिती नाही. ती आली नाही तर तिच्या घरी जावून बघू का? विचार करत तो ऑफिस मधे आला.
खुशी समोरच उभी होती. तीच काम सुरू होत. मावशी फर्निचर पुसत होत्या. खुशी फाईल नीट लावत होती. ती नेहमी प्रमाणे खूप बोलत होती. आज जीन्स वर कुर्ता घातला होता. केसांची वेणी. साधी छान दिसत होती. बोलके डोळे त्यातून ती काय म्हणते ते अगदी समजत होतं. कबीर थोडसं हसला.”गुड मॉर्निंग सर.” बाकीचे विश करत होते.खुशीने वळून बघितल. कबीर आला होता. तो सरळ आत निघून गेला. काका कॉफी घेवून गेले. खुशी अजून कामात होती. “खुशीला पाठवा.”काका बाहेर गेले. “खुशी मॅडम.”तिला समजल. ती आत आली. कबीर नुसता बसला होता.”खुशी तू ठीक आहेस ना?” त्याने विचारल.हो.” काल काही लागल का?””नाही सर. ” खुशी म्हणाली. खर तर तिला त्याने अशी चौकशी केलेली आवडली होती. दोन मिनिट ती विसरून गेली की हा दुश्मन आहे. आपल्याला याच्या सोबत रहायच नाही. तिच्या चेहर्‍यावर हलक हसू आल आधी सारखं निरागस.कबीर तिच्या कडे बघत होता. ” काळजी घ्यायची खुशी. तू रस्ता क्रॉस करत होती का?”हो.का?” त्या बाजूला जायच होत.” तिने सांगितल नाही की ती त्या माणसा मागे जात होती.”नसेल होत तर करू नको हे काम. टॅक्सीने येत जा. ” कबीर म्हणाला.
“टॅक्सी साठी पैसे हवे ना? मला नोकरीची गरज आहे. मी करते. इथे काम केल नाही तर कुठेच करता येणार नाही ना?” मागे कबीर अस म्हणाला होता ते तिला आठवल.
” मी आहे ना. एवढी काळजी करायची नाही.” कबीर म्हणाला.” याच्या मुळे काळजी करण्यासारखे दिवस आले. ” पण खुशी काही म्हटली नाही. गोड बोलून काम काढायच होत.तो तिच्या कडे बघत होता. ” तुला काही लागल तर निसंकोच सांग खुशी. अस जीव धोक्यात टाकून धावपळ करायची नाही. तुला काही झाल तर मी काय करणार?”” हो कबीर सर. “”तुझ एमबीए च काय झाल?”” अभ्यासाला वेळ नाही सर. क्लास लावला नाही. या वर्षी होणार नाही.” तिला वाईट वाटत होत. घरात अभ्यासाला शिक्षणाला किती महत्व होत. पण सिच्युएशन अशी झाली होती की ती पुढच्या शिक्षणाचा विचार ही करू शकत नव्हती.”तु परीक्षेची तयारी कर . फी भरायची आहे का?” कबीर म्हणाला.”नको माझी मनस्थिती नीट नाही. “” खुशी सध्या परिस्थिती अशी आहे म्हणून हे सगळ होत आहे. तसा माणूस म्हणून मी वाईट नाही. तुला काही लागल तर सांगत जा. ” कबीर शांततेत बोलत होता.” असच आमच्या घरच्यांच्या बाबतीत झाल असेल ना. ते ही काही वाईट नाहीत. कोणीही कोणती गोष्ट मुद्दामून करत नाही. त्या मागे काही कारण असतात. किंवा माहिती नसतांना ही एखादी गोष्ट घडून जाते. तुमच्या दृष्टीने ती चुकी असते आम्हाला माहिती नसतं नक्की काय झाल आहे?” खुशी त्याला समजून सांगायचा प्रयत्न करत होती.
” बरोबर आहे तुझ. पण तुमच्या कडे माहिती नाही अस बोलू नकोस . विचार तुझ्या बाबांना. ” कबीर म्हणाला.
” काय माहिती आहे? काय झालं होत? हे समजल तर गैरसमज दूर करायला मदत होईल ना कबीर सर. आपण मोकळ बोललं पाहिजे. ” ती शांततेत म्हणाली.”गैरसमज नाही हा. आमच आयुष्य उद्वस्त झाल याने. जाणून बुजून केल हे. स्वतः च्या चांगल्या साठी दुसर्‍याला त्रास झाला तरी चालेल असे लोक आहेत. ” कबीरच्या बोलण्यात दुःख होत.” आमच्या मुळे त्रास झाला? नाही कबीर सर . मला जेवढ माहिती आहे माझ्या घरचे अत्यंत साधे लोक आहेत. माझे बाबा किती गरिबांना आधार देतात. अनाथाश्रम चालवतात. ऑफिस मधे ही किती गरजू लोकांना नोकरी दिली होती. तुम्ही एकदा परत चौकशी करा. नक्की माझ्या बाबांवर राग आहे का?” खुशी मनापासून बोलत होती. तिचे बाबा किती चांगले आहेत तिला माहिती होत.कबीर काही म्हटला नाही.” नक्की काय झाल कबीर सर? तुम्हाला योग्य वाटल तर सांगा. “ती त्याच्या कडे आशेने बघत होती.कबीर गप्प होता. मला तर अशी स्टोरी सांगितली गेली आहे. परत एकदा परांजपे बद्दल चौकशी करावी लागेल. नाहीतर चोर सोडून सन्यासाला फाशी अस होईल.” खुशी एक बोलू का? त्या दिवशी रागाने म्हणालो होतो की मला सर म्हणायच. तुला वाटल तर तू मला कबीर म्हण. “राऊत आत आले. “मीटिंग साठी लोक आले आहेत. नवीन प्रोजेक्टच प्रेझेंटेशन द्यायला. “”हो आलोच. त्यांना कॉन्फरन्स रूम मधे बसवा. “राऊत गेले.”खुशी इथे नको. तु मला आरामात भेट. आपण व्यवस्थित बोलू. “”चालेल. पण कबीर सर एक रीक्वेस्ट होती. तुम्ही आमचा राग राग करू नका. आमच अजून नुकसान करू नका. आम्ही या पेक्षा जास्त सहन करू शकणार नाही.”कबीर काही म्हटला नाही. मीटिंग साठी निघून गेला. खुशी ही बाहेर येवून बसली.बर झाल कबीर सोबत शांततेत बोलली. मला वाटत कबीर नाही या मागे अजून कोणीतरी आहे. त्यांनी कबीरला भडकावून दिल आहे. मामा… बहुतेक तेच. कबीरला कस सांगणार मामा चांगले नाहीत. होईल हळू हळू. मामाची चौकशी करायला हवी. अंजलीने सांगितल ना ते लोक त्या गावात रहात होते. बघू घरी गेल्यावर बाबांना सांगू.लंच ब्रेक मधे खुशी तिच्या फ्रेंड्स सोबत जेवत होती. “कुठे पर्यंत आल काम? मिशन कबीर.” राघव विचारत होता.”हळू सावकाश. कोणी ऐकेल. मी बोलते आहे त्याच्याशी पण तरीही काहीही समजल नाही. खूप गुंतागुंत आहे. गैरसमज आहे .””बोलत रहा, तेच ठीक आहे. समजेल. तू उगीच चिडू नकोस.” राघव म्हणाला.” पण मी हे बरोबर करते ना? त्रास देणार्‍या लोकांसोबत चांगल बोलायच.” खुशीला हे पटत नव्हतं.” आपल काम काढून घे खुशी. नंतर काय होईल ते बघता येईल . “” बाकी काही नाही झाल तरी ठीक पण त्या लोकांनी आम्हाला दोषी मानू नये. मला नाही वाटत आता कबीर आमच ऑफिस घर वापस करेल. परत नव्याने सुरूवात करावी लागेल. ” खुशी म्हणाली….कबीर केबिन मधे एकटाच जेवत होता. त्याला बोर होत होतं. खुशी कुठे आहे तो बघत होता. ती दिसली नाही. अंजली ही नव्हती. खुशी नक्की त्या मुलांसोबत असेल. म्हणणार तरी कस की माझ्या सोबत जेव.काका आले. ” साहेब कॉफी देवू?”” थोड्या वेळाने. सगळे कुठे गेले? “” खुशी मॅडम जेवायला गेल्या असतिल. लंच टाइम आहे ना. ” त्यांनी सांगितल.कबीर काही म्हटला नाही. सगळ्यांना माहिती होत कबीर नेहमी खुशीची चौकशी करतो.अंजली तिचा डबा घेवून कॅन्टीन मध्ये आली. “या ना मॅडम खुशीने बोलवलं.””तुमचा छान ग्रुप आहे. तुम्ही ओळखतात का एकमेकांना?” ती खुर्ची वर बसत म्हणाली.”हो आम्ही आधी पासून एकत्र आहोत. खुशी नंतर ग्रुप मधे आली. ती पण आता बेस्ट फ्रेंड आहे. “राघव म्हणाला.”अरे वाह. “”खुशी आधी अकाऊंट डिपार्टमेंट मधे होती. आम्ही बरोबर काम करायचो अतिशय हुशार आहे. ” बाकीचे सांगत होते.”मग तू ते काम का शिफ्ट केल. काहीतरी आपल साफसफाई आणि चहा कॉफी बनवण.” अंजली तिला ओरडत होती. तिला आधी पासून खुशीच काम आवडल नव्हत.”ती कश्याला अस काम घेईल? तिला देण्यात आल. ” राघव म्हणाला तशी खुशी घाबरली.”कोणी दिल?”” काही बोलू नको राघव.” तिने रीक्वेस्ट केली.” खुशी तू थांब. कोणी दिल हे काम. ” अंजलीने विचारल.”अंजली मॅडम तुम्ही ही गोष्ट आपल्यात ठेवाल तर सांगते मला अजून संकट नको आहे. झाल तेवढ पुरे झाल. खूप मुश्किल आहे आमच्या आयुष्यात. ” खुशी म्हणाली.” नाही सांगणार. प्रॉमीस. “” कबीर सरांनी दिल.” खुशी म्हणाली.” खुशीची कंपनी होती ही. ती कबीर साहेबांनी घेतली. ” राघव म्हणाला.अंजली बघत होती.” तू खुशी परांजपे आहे? कबीरने तुला अस काम का दिल?” तिला खूप आश्चर्य वाटल.” माहिती नाही. “कबीर कॅन्टीन मध्ये आला. तो लांबून खुशी कडे बघत होता. सगळे गप्प बसले.” खुशी इकडे ये.”” अंजली मॅडम प्लीज काही बोलू नका. नाहीतर माझ काही खर नाही. ” खुशी हळूच म्हणाली.ती गेली.”कबीर खुशीला ओळखतो का?” अंजली त्या दोघांकडे बघत होती.”हो ते पूर्वी प्रेमात होते.” राघव म्हणाला.”काय? मग आता?””आता ही आहेत. नक्की माहिती नाही.” राघव म्हणाला.” मग कबीर का अस करतो?” अंजली म्हणाली.”त्यांनाच माहिती.”…खुशी कबीर जवळ जावून उभी राहिली.” जेवण केल?””हो .तुम्ही सर? “”हो. कॉफी?”त्याने तिला खुर्चीवर बसवलं.कॉफी आली. कॅन्टीन मध्ये बाकीचे होते. त्यामुळे विशेष बोलता येत नव्हत.अंजली त्यांच्या जवळ आली.” मी इथे बसु का?” मुद्दाम हसुन म्हणाली.” हो अंजु. ” कबीर म्हणाला.” आज तुम्ही दोघे कसे काय सोबत कॉफी घेता. म्हणजे बॉस आणि असिस्टंट, तुम्ही दोघ एकमेकांना ओळखतात का?” तिने मुद्दामून विचारल.दोघ काही म्हटले नाही.”तुम्ही अजिबात बोलत नाही. मी आल्या मुळे गप्प आहात का ? ठीक आहे मला थोड काम आहे मी निघते.” अंजली गेली. ती जागेवर येवून बसली. बाकीचे मुल ही लंच टाइम संपल्या मुळे जागेवर आले……प्रशांत मामा ऑफिस मधे आले. ते केबिन मधे निघून गेले. कबीर नव्हता. ” काका कबीर कुठे आहे? “” साहेब कॅन्टीन मधे असतिल.”मामा रागात होते .नक्की ती पोरगी सोबत असेल……खुशी शांत होती. कबीर तिच्या कडे बघत होता. हिला थोड सांगायला हव.” खुशी मला सांग तुला तुझ्या घरचे पूर्वी पासून श्रीमंत होते का?””नाही सर्वसाधारण परिस्थिती होती. बाबांनी स्व बळावर हे मिळवल. त्यांची खूप मेहेनत होती या मागे. ” ती म्हणाली.”तु परत एकदा घरी विचार. एवढी प्रॉपर्टी कशी जमवली. तुला तुझ्या प्रश्नांचे उत्तर मिळतील. ” कबीर म्हणाला.”काय झाल कबीर सर. तुम्हाला नक्की काय म्हणायच आहे?” खुशीने विचारल.कबीर काही बोलणार तेवढ्यात मामा कॅन्टीन मध्ये आले. ते कबीर कडे रागाने बघत होते.” तिकडे लोक लोक मीटिंग साठी वाट बघत आहेत. तू इथे आरामात गप्पा मारतो आहे. चहा पाणी झाला असेल तर चल.”” आलोच. “” आत्ता उठ तिथून. समजल ना. ऐ पोरी तू काय याच्या मागे असते. ” मामा ओरडले.खुशी दचकली. उठून उभी राहिली. ती कबीर कडे बघत होती. बर कॅन्टीन मधे कोणी नव्हतं.” मामा ही काय बोलायची पध्दत झाली का? तू जा केबिन मधे मी आलोच. सॉरी खुशी. चल.”मामा गेले.”मामा माझ्या वर का चिडले? मी तर त्यांना ओळखत ही नाही. “खुशी नाराज होती.” मामांना मी तुझ्या सोबत राहिलेल नको आहे.” कबीर म्हणाला.” ओह. मग ऐका त्यांच कबीर सर. नाहीतर मामा म्हणतात तेच तुम्ही करतात. इतर चौकशी विचार करत नाही. “खुशी एकदम बोलून गेली. तिला खात्री होती या मागे मामा आहे.कबीर तिच्या कडे बघत होता.सॉरी.कबीर विचार करत होता खुशी बरोबर बोलते आहे. मी मामाच्या अति आहारी गेलो आहे. तो केबिन मधे आला.” तू तर एकदम आनंदात आहे इकडे कबीर. त्या पोरी बरोबर फिरत असतो दिवसभर. थोड्या दिवसानी तुला त्या लोकांमधे काहीही चूक वाटणार नाही. हा मामाच चुकीचा वाटेल. ती पोरगी तुला अस शिकवते. तुझा काय दोष.” मामा बडबड करत होते.”मामा प्लीज. काहीही बोलू नकोस. आणि तीच खुशी नाव आहे पोरगी पोरगी करू नकोस. मलाही थोडफार समजत. ती मला काहीही सांगत नाही. मीच बोलत होतो तिच्याशी. ” कबीर वैतागला होता.” काय एवढं महत्वाचं सुरू होत?”त्याने सांगितल नाही.कबीर विचार करत होता जर मामाला सांगितल की मी खुशीला लग्नाबद्दल विचारतो आहे तर तो परत चिडेल. खुशीला त्रास देईल. पण जो पर्यंत खरी माहिती समजत नाही तो पर्यंत खुशी हो म्हणणार नाही.मामा इतर हिशोब बघत होते. त्यांना थोडी गडबड वाटली. ते पेपर वर लिहून घेत होते. ते बाहेर जावुन राऊतला भेटून आले. “नवीन तीन प्रोजेक्ट सुरू आहे त्याच स्टेटस काय ?”ते माहिती देत होते. खुशी समोर बसलेली होती.”हिला काही काम नाही का राऊत?” मामांनी विचारल.” नाही, कबीर साहेबांनी खुशी मॅडमला फाईल बघायला मनाई केली आहे.” राऊत म्हणाले.”जावू द्या तिला घरी. इथे उगीच कबीरच्या मागे पुढे करते. खूपच युजलेस लोक आहेत इथे. एप्लाईजची लिस्ट द्या. “राऊतने थोड्या वेळाने लिस्ट दिली. मामाने खूण केली.”या या लोकांना घरी पाठवा. आपले त्या ऑफिस मधले लोक इकडे घ्या.””ठीक आहे पण प्रशांत साहेब एकदा ही लिस्ट कबीर साहेबांना दाखवा.” राऊत बघत होते त्यात खुशीच नाव होत.त्यांनी राऊत कडे रागाने बघितल. राऊत लिस्ट घेवून आत गेले.” कबीर सर प्रशांत सरांनी ही लिस्ट दिली आहे. या लोकांना काढून टाकायला सांगितल. “कबीर लिस्ट बघत होता. खुशीच्या नावापुढे टीक होती. राऊत कबीर कडे बघत होते. कबीर काही म्हटला नाही. मामाला खुशी आवडत नाही. उगीच तिला त्रास होईल. जावू दे त्या पेक्षा ती इथे नकोच. मी पण उगीच तिला त्रास दिला. त्याने सही केली. ठीक आहे.बाहेर सगळे जमले होते. राऊत लिस्ट वाचून दाखवत होते. 5-6 मुल पुढे आले. त्यात खुशी ही होती. राघव बाकीचे बघत होते नक्की काय सुरू आहे.”तुम्हाला घरी जायला सांगितल. नोकरी वरून कमी केल.” राऊत म्हणाले.”मी पण?” खुशी म्हणाली.हो. राऊत तिच्याकडे बघत होते.”एकदा विचारा ना आत.”कबीर साहेबांनी स्वतः सही केली…..
